This career site is operated by Piedmont Beverage Company to list open positions and let candidates learn about opportunities. This notice explains what information the site collects automatically as you browse it, and how that information is used.
What applying does not do here: this site does not collect your name,
resume, contact details, or any other application materials. When you select Apply, you are taken
to Piedmont Beverage Company's applicant tracking system, a separate platform operated by a third
party, where any personal information you submit is governed by that system's own privacy
practices. We recommend reviewing those before you apply.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, this site automatically collects some technical information as you browse:
- Pages viewed, including which specific job postings you view
- Whether you selected Apply on a posting (recorded to measure whether this site is doing its job, not to identify you)
- General device type (mobile, tablet, desktop) and browser
- The page or search engine that referred you to this site
- Your IP address, which we never store directly — we store a cryptographic transformation of it instead, used only to estimate your general location (city/region) and to measure how many distinct people visited. This value is not shared outside our own systems.
This is collected through:
- A first-party session cookie we set directly, not shared with or readable by any other website. It is used only to group your page views into a single visit, so we can measure how many visits lead to a candidate reaching the Apply button. It expires automatically after 90 minutes of inactivity.
- A second first-party cookie, used only to recognize whether you have visited this site before. It carries no information about you beyond that yes/no fact, and lasts up to 400 days (the longest a browser will keep any cookie).
- Google Analytics, a standard third-party analytics service. See Google's privacy policy for how Google handles this data.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share this information with third parties.
- We do not track you across other, unrelated websites.
